Itinerary
Day 1 London – Salisbury – Stonehenge – Bideford
Welcome to England! Driving west to Wiltshire, stop to view Salisbury Cathedral, boasting the tallest spire in the UK. Visit Stonehenge, its origins shrouded in mystery. Further west, cross Exmoor to the ancient seaport of Bideford. This evening, meet and get to know your companions and your Travel Director at a Welcome Pub Reception, which includes a typical British pub meal and drinks.

Day 2 Bideford – Clovelly – Tintagel – Plymouth (2 Nights)
Admire the picturesque village of Clovelly during your visit. Marvel at the little medieval of Boscastle in Cornwall before stopping for views of Tintagel Castle. This afternoon stop to enjoy a Be My Guest cream tea. At the naval port of Plymouth, see the Mayflower Steps where the Pilgrim Fathers set sail to America and see the historic Royal Citadel. Day 3 Cornish Excursion
The rugged Cornish coast is famous for smugglers’ coves and quaint fishing villages, which you will see on the way to Land’s End, the most westerly point on the British mainland. Visit St. Ives, a beautiful resort popular with artists and tourists. Enjoy views of St. Michael’s Mount near Penzance. Cross Bodmin Moor, dominated by dramatic granite tors, on your way back to Plymouth. (FB)
Day 4 Plymouth – Glastonbury – Cheddar Gorge – Bristol (2 Nights)
Traverse the tough terrain of Dartmoor National Park to the mystical site of Glastonbury. Discover the Abbey ruins on your included visit and see the legendary burial place of King Arthur. Travel through the spectacular landscape of Cheddar Gorge and enjoy free time for lunch in the town synonymous with the famous cheese. Your orientation of Bristol includes views of the Clifton Suspension Bridge and Brunel’s SS Great Britain, the world’s first ocean-going propeller-driven iron ship.

Day 5 Bath Excursion
This morning drive to the beautiful city of Bath to admire the superb Georgian architecture on your orientation of the main sights. Visit the Roman Baths, renowned for their hot mineral springs. This afternoon enjoy free time for exploring Bath. Later, return to Bristol and join your companions in the evening for a Farewell Dinner. (FB/HD)
Day 6 Bristol – Avebury – Windsor – London
Marvel at the ancient stone circles when you visit Avebury, thought to be the oldest neolithic monument in Britain. Stop in Royal Windsor with time for you to enjoy lunch before returning to London where your memorable holiday ends. (FB)
